NJ Audubon: Photography Instructor’s Summer Exhibition at the Wayrick Wildlife Art Gallery | Free | Recurring Event

Admire the work of David DesRochers and Phil Witt, natural photographers of wildlife with decades of experience, at the Wayrick Wildlife Art Gallery all through the summer. The artwork ranges from nature images to wildlife to landscaped captured all across the Earth. Get inspired and meet up with other art appreciating peers!

Make Your Own Graphic Novel | Free

Join author and illustrator Barbara DiLorenzo for a hands on instruction experience centered around learning how to create a graphic novel. All materials will be provided. This event is happening at the Somerville Library Branch at 35 West End Avenue, and kids entering grades seven through twelve are welcome.

Living By Design Rather Than Default: Workshop at Bernardsville Library | Free

Diane Penola will lead a workshop that coaches people on developing a better self image and neutralizing negative thoughts and behaviors. Ms. Penola says, “Be a coach, not a critic.” Clients will learn tools that will help them to enhance their daily lives, set better goals, and overall achieve greater personal development. Diane Penola has served New Jersey as a professional life coach for many years, and her workshops are a staple of Somerset libraries. Swing by and give an ear; you may leave with something better than you ever expected.

Somerset Patriots vs. York Revolution Baseball Game | $10 – $26

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the hit television show Spongebob Squarepants with a special baseball game. The Somerset Patriots have teamed up with the ALS Association Greater New York Chapter in order to host an ALS awareness night in honor of Stephen Hillenburg. Hillenburg passed away from the disease this past November, and fundraising from the event will benefit the ALS Association’s Greater New York Chapter. The event is on 7/17/19, which will be Senior Wednesday at TD Ballpark. Seniors fifty-five and up will receive upper box tickets for only five dollars.

Microloans and SBA Loans for Small Businesses

At the Manville Library Branch in Somerset County, the United States Small Business Administration will be giving out information on micro and SBA loans for small businesses. Registration is required to attend the event.

Olde Mill Inn Wedding Fest

  Have a great time planning your wedding at the Olde Mill Inn Wedding Fest! Listen to music and chill while sampling food and drinks that could feature at your reception! Wending vendors providing services in every category will be there for your perusal and consideration. Make some good connections that will facilitate that Dream Date! Look at wedding gowns and experience work of florists, photographers, hairstylists, videographers, live bands, makeup artists, Djs, live musicians, limousines and more! Brides and their guests can come in for free, but registration is required.
